Encouraged by artistic parents, I grew up in the suburbs of Ft. Worth, Texas where I spent much of my childhood perfectly convinced that the raised kitchen was a stage... for me to produce on.

In 2002 I graduated with a B.F.A. in Theatre form (Southwest) Texas State University where I focused on Directing, Lighting, and Stage Management.

During my time in Dallas I also worked for Dallas Theater Center, Second Thought Theater, and Lone Star Circus.  For LSC I was a Lighting Designer, Production Manager, Producer, and Creative Consultant. I also served a term on their Board of Directors.

In 2014, I headed to Denver to join the Denver Center for the Performing Arts as Associate Production Manager for the Theater Company and Production Manager for Off-Center. Through Off-Center, I helped build the systems that allow DCPA to shepherd new and innovative immersive work like Sweet & Lucky with Third Rail Projects, The Wild Party, Carpe Nocte, and others. I was promoted to Artistic Producer in 2017, continuing to work with both branches on theatrical productions, traditional and non, including: The Who's Tommy, Vietgone, Quixote Nuevo (also puppetry consultant), the world premiere of Theater of the Mind (also puppetry consultant), and the world premiere & regional mountain tour of Wildfire.

Additionally while in Denver, I worked with The Catamounts on the covid-friendly zoom experience: The Whiskey Tasting, Hanzon Studios on a home version of Camp Christmas, and Centre Phi as a Site Manager for Alejandro Iñarittu's VR Film immersive experience, Carne Y Arena.  All during the Covid shut down.

I left Denver in early 2023 to be back near my family in Ft. Worth, Texas and spent the year as Producing Director for David Byrne's Arbutus Foundation.

I work independently, remotely and in-person, for people and projects I believe in.

I enjoy the time spent with my family and my partner in crime - a spunky and snuggly

7 year old Chihuahua named "Minnie" Pearl.

In 2005 I went on tour with Dallas Children's Theater as an Assistant Stage Manager and eventually became lead SM.

In the summer of 2006, I trained as a puppeteer and performed 6 shows a day at Six Flags Over Texas with Kathy Burks' Theater of Puppetry Arts.

Shortly after, DCT hired me full-time as Production and Facilities Coordinator. In 2009, I became their Production & Special Events Manager and also worked as a Stage Manager, Puppeteer, Lighting Designer, Voice Over Artist, & Assistant Director. I served as staff liaison on the board's Facilities Committee and was a member of the Senior Staff. I developed curriculum for a class called Totally Technical Theater and a Student Technician Program, ensuring that students who did not want to be in the limelight could also learn the craft and get to know the world of theatre. DCT holds a special place in my heart.
